American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Listening Tour
August 2021 - December 2022

The Herbert Henderson Office of Minority Affairs (HHOMA), in partnership with the Office of Governor Jim Justice, is travelling to all 55 West Virginia counties for a listening tour focused on the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Each stop on the listening tour will consist of morning roundtable discussions with local leaders followed by public forums in the evening where community members will receive information and share their ideas.

Local leaders and community members are encouraged to attend and discuss areas of need that could potentially be addressed through the $1.6 billion allocation of ARPA funding in West Virginia. Topics of discussion will include the following:

  • Pandemic-Related Challenges
  • Targeting Greatest Needs
