Jacqueline Proctor

Jacqueline Proctor is currently the Deputy Commissioner for the WV Bureau of Senior Services.  
Ms. Proctor has a depth of experience across state government having served as deputy commissioner with WV Tourism and the WV Division of Culture and History. In 2011, former Governor Earl Ray Tomblin appointed Ms. Proctor to his senior staff as his Director of Communications. 
Prior to moving to West Virginia, Proctor enjoyed a successful career as Director of Program Management/Affiliate Relations with ABC/Disney Television Network-NY. There she applied her negotiation, communication, and marketing skills with local station management to ensure nationwide distribution of network programming. 

She has been and continues to be involved in several civic activities both in New York City and Huntington, WV. Among those are:  lead instructor/facilitator of Focus on Careers and Success, a workshop for high school juniors through the Archdiocese of New York, as a trustee of the Hunting Museum of Art, commission member with the WV Martin Luther King, Jr., State Holiday Commission, vice chair of the Board of Zoning Appeals – Huntington, and community discussion/facilitator for Create Huntington a non-profit, community organization that empowers citizens to participate in economic, social and cultural development.

Outside of her many demands Ms. Proctor is passionate about facilitating/coaching business, community leaders and individuals in impactful presentation and communication skills development. 
Proctor is a graduate of the University of Maryland-College Park. She attended Simmons Graduate School of Management-Boston.
