The MLK Commission, in conjunction with the YWCA Wheeling hosts annually, The Project on Racism Essay Contest that honors the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., while encouraging grades K-12 students’ creativity through essay writing. This year, first, second and third place winners will be recognized and the first place winners will read their essays. The celebration will be held on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. in the WV Culture and History Center- Great Hall. Join Us and Take A Stand!
