The Herbert Henderson Office of Minority Affairs has partnered Legal Aid of West Virginia’s Financial Exploitation Division to offer its third financial literacy class to community members in Martinsburg. Legal Aid of WV Attorneys Amanda Gavin and Jennifer Taylor will facilitate the class, which focuses on financial exploitation, smart planning and handling banked/underbanked obstacles. Unbanked/underbanked households rely on cash and have little or no access to checking or savings accounts, credit cards or other traditional financial services.
