Across the world every June 15th, elder abuse is recognized as the silent epidemic that affects thousands of seniors. This year, WV Governor Earl Tomblin has declared June 15th as Elder Abuse Awareness Day in West Virginia. Please join the WV Department of Health and Human Resources and the WV Bureau of Senior Services on June 17, 2014 in promoting elder abuse awareness.
