Herbert Henderson Office of Minority Affairs announces plans for the 2016 Minority Business Expo

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (October 3, 2016) – The Herbert Henderson Office of Minority Affairs (HHOMA) today announced plans for the 3rd Annual Minority Business Expo (MBExpo) on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Charleston Civic Center.
 
“This expo provides an opportunity for small business owners, companies, corporations, suppliers and entrepreneurs to come together in one location to work with local and regional partners, share best practices and collaborate with experts to gain helpful tips on ways to enhance their businesses.” Dr. Carolyn Stuart, Executive Director of HHOMA, said. “This event provides individuals from across the state with building blocks and helpful information to start or grow a business and chart long-term success.”
 
               The Executive Director of HHOMA coordinates this annual event. This year’s MBExpo sponsors are BrickStreet Insurance, Mylan Pharmaceuticals, Toyota, U.S. Department of Energy’s Minorities in Energy Program and the West Virginia Bureau of Senior Services. The expo will feature a number of exhibitors and informational presentations. 
              
               The event is free and each individual attendee is required to preregister. Keynote luncheon seating is limited and is granted to individuals upon receipt of their registration forms.  Registration closes October 12, 2016.
